Bacon Wrapped Dates

Bacon. How can you not like anything wrapped in bacon? If you’d like to be the hit of the party, then take this simple appetizer. The perfect combination of salty and sweet. You’ll instantly become everyone’s friend because these are a definite crowd pleaser.

Bacon Wrapped Dates Recipe:

30-40 Pitted Dates

30-40 Raw Almonds

2 Packages of Pederson’s Natural Farms No Sugar Hickory Smoked Bacon

Round Toothpicks

Preheat oven to 425 Degrees. After removing the pit from each date, stuff one almond into the center of each. With a pair of kitchen scissors, cut the bacon in half. Wrap each date with half a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Take two jelly roll pans with wire racks and place the dates on the rack, make sure to space them evenly apart so they aren’t touching. Bake for ten minutes, turn the dates over, and bake for another ten minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
