Tart Cherry Lime Gummies

I’ve been wanting to add more collagen into our diet since there are so many amazing benefits. Feel free to read up on some of the great things collagen can do for you in your diet here.

For this recipe, I experimented with combining a bunch of different recipes into one. The final result was delicious, gut healing, collagen gummies.

Tart Cherry Lime Gummies Recipe:

3/4 Cup Tart Cherry Juice (I like to use Santa Cruz Organics Juice)

1/4 Cup Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice, Strained (or Santa Cruz Organics Juice)

2 Tablespoons Raw Honey

3 Tablespoons Vital Proteins Grass Fed Beef Gelatin 

In a medium sauce pan, heat both juices over medium heat until hot but not boiling. Lower the heat to the lowest setting and whisk in the raw honey until fully dissolved.  Then whisk in 1 tablespoon at a time of the beef gelatin, adding another only after the other is dissolved. Continue to stir until all of the beef gelatin is fully dissolved which will be about 10 minutes. Once you have no lumps, just liquid, carefully transfer the liquid into your gummy molds. Usually a eyedropper is provided, which is extremely helpful. I purchased silicone candy molds in the shape of gummy bears on Amazon, but you can use any silicone mold you already have. You could also use a mini muffin pan or an 8 x 8 baking dish (lightly greased with coconut oil) and then simply cut into squares or use cookie cutters to cut into shapes.  Refrigerate until firm, about 1 to 2 hours depending on the size of your gummies.   Carefully pop them out of the molds and enjoy!
