Candy Cane Coffee Creamer

I am not a huge coffee person but when I did drink it, it always had to have tons of cream and sugar. Now with the holidays upon us, I miss the Starbucks peppermint latte so I set my sights on recreating a coffee creamer with those flavors in mind.

Coffee Creamer Recipe:

One Quart of Organic Valley Lactose-Free Half & Half

4 Tablespoons of Honey (Or More Depending On Your Sweetness Preference)

1 Teaspoon of Vanilla

1/2 Tablespoon of Peppermint Flavor

Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a low boil, then remove from heat. Once cooled, store in an air-tight container for about a week

Recipe Modifications:

If you can’t tolerate dairy, you can substitute the half & half for 2 cups of coconut milk and 2 cups of almond milk.
